Michael J. Wolfe concentrates his practice of law in the areas of Corporate and Business Law, Banking and Secured Lending and Real Estate with an emphasis on Commercial Real Estate.
A member of the firm since 2002, Mr. Wolfe's practice is focused on the areas of real estate acquisitions, dispositions and leasing, and all aspects of real estate financing, commercial and industrial financing, and bond financing. Mr. Wolfe works regularly with national, regional and local financial institutions and companies in structuring and closing complex real estate transactions and financings, including multifamily and mixed use developments as well as workouts and restructurings.
Recent representative transactions included:
- Representation of lender in aggregate $75 million dollar syndicated mortgage warehouse repurchase facility
- Representation of owners and operators of assisted living communities and nursing home facilities throughout the country
- Representation of one of the largest investors/owners of multifamily apartment homes in the United States
- Representation of lenders and borrowers in credit facilities in the manufacturing, healthcare, non-profit real estate and service industries.
Mike has served on several boards and commissions in the Village of Arlington Heights, including two terms on the Arlington Heights Plan Commission, as chairman. Prior to that he served two terms on the Zoning Board of Appeals, the second term as the chairman of that board. He has also served two terms on the Board of Trustees of St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights and currently serves on the board of directors of a number of corporate clients. He is active in endurance sports, having completed multiple marathons and triathlons, including Ironman events.
