WILLIAM J. GRINDE concentrates his practice of law in the areas of Tax and Estate Planning, with an emphasis on Individual and Retirement Planning and Lifetime and Estate Planning. Bill heads up the Estate Planning Practice Group.
Bill also practices in the area Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, tax planning for Mergers and Acquisitions and general Corporate and Business Tax Planning. He is a member of the Corporate Practice Group.
As a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and Chartered Financial Consultant, Bill is uniquely qualified to advise his clients, and coordinate with clients' other financial advisors, in highly specialized areas of financial legal matters.
The Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Leading Lawyers Network has named Bill as among the "Top 5% of all lawyers in Illinois.” He has been given an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Prior to joining Meltzer Purtill & Stelle LLC, Bill was a tax partner in the Chicago office of KPMG.
