Practice Overview
MPS Law’s entry into employment law coincides with the 2022 acquisition of Kaplan Saunders Valente & Beninati LLP and the arrival of several attorneys with extensive experience in the field.
Our team is well versed in the nuances of employment law and the needs, expectations and motivations of the employers they serve. We know how to hire, fire, and discipline employees in a way that not only minimizes the likelihood of disputes but also establishes and maintains a positive and productive working environment. We provide counseling on anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, representation before the EEOC and state administrative agencies, and guidance on protecting confidential information and trade secrets from former employees and competitors.
Our attorneys approach all employment issues with a focus on maintaining relationships, creating a positive environment and resolving conflict. Our skills go beyond drafting contracts and resolving disputes and include predicting when disputes will arise and structuring agreements to avoid costly litigation. When litigation is inevitable, we help clients focus on business rather than emotional issues.
