Bill concentrates his practice in general real estate acquisition, development and financing matters, and commercial secured financing transactions.
His regular activities and counsel includes multi-tenant retail and mixed-use residential and retail developments; development and financing transactions involving public and private bond placements; and developments which are the subject of public-private partnerships located in Transit Oriented Development Districts (TOD), Special Service Areas (SSA), Tax Increment Financing Districts (TIF), Business Development Districts (BDD), and other developments where public-private equity and financing structures are employed to foster redevelopment to alleviate blight, obsolescence, and underutilization.
Bill also advises on complex community development and condominium documentation for mixed-use and large-scale residential developments. He has served as the managing partner of MPS since May 2012, and was a founding member of the firm in 1996.
Prior to founding MPS, Bill was a partner in an Am Law 200 National Law firm in Chicago.
